In late 2025, Australian Transmission Components (ATC) acquired Swansons Gaskets, relocating the manufacturing equipment and operations to its modern facility in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. This investment has strengthened our ability to expand the product range, improve product availability, and deliver even higher levels of service to customers throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Today, Swansons Gaskets continues to build on its long-standing reputation for supplying dependable sealing solutions, quality products, and the technical expertise our customers rely on every day.

Our History

Before ATC, Swansons Gaskets was a family owned and operated business with a history spanning three generations.

Alexander Swanson started the company in 1942, making gaskets by hand in a small tin shed with a dirt floor in Stanmore. Ron Swanson later continued the business for many years from Chatswood, building the trade relationships and technical knowledge that would carry the business forward. Craig Swanson joined the company in the early 1980s and moved the business to its long-time home in Hornsby, New South Wales, in 1995.

For over 80 years, three generations of the Swanson family built a reputation for quality gaskets, deep product knowledge, and genuine care for every customer, values that continue to guide the business today. ATC looks to build on this legacy, honouring the standards the Swanson family set while investing in the people, equipment and product range needed to serve the next generation of customers.
